On the recent CBS Show “Face the Nation,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg found himself in the hot seat as he attempted to defend the Biden administration’s pitiful efforts in building new electric-vehicle charging stations. With the country facing widespread shortages at the pump and gas prices soaring through the roof, you would think the administration would prioritize building up our electric-vehicle infrastructure, but sadly, they have fallen short once again.
Buttigieg tried to spin the administration’s lackluster record, claiming that they are making progress, but let’s be real here – progress is nowhere to be seen! Instead of making excuses, the administration should be rolling up their sleeves and getting to work on building the charging stations that American drivers desperately need.

It’s not just a matter of convenience either, it’s about the economy and national security. The Biden administration’s failure to invest in this essential infrastructure puts our country at risk by keeping us dependent on foreign oil. It’s time for the administration to stop talking and start taking real action to support American drivers and protect our national interests.
The American people deserve better, and it’s time for the Biden administration to stop dropping the ball on crucial issues like this and start prioritizing the needs of the American people.
