China, with its oppressive regime, views anything resembling freedom as a threat to its grip on power. The Communist Party has ensured that dissent is crushed and that their citizens are fed a constant diet of propaganda. Their ambitious expansion into new territories and their blatant disregard for international laws echo a desire not just for power, but for the complete subjugation of anyone who dares to stand up to them. Meanwhile, they’re busy crafting military strategies that would make any freedom-loving American shake their head in disbelief.

Russia, the self-proclaimed bear on the prowl, continues to flex its muscles under the leadership of Vladimir Putin. With a fondness for old-school authoritarianism, Russia has demonstrated time and again that it is willing to undermine American influence worldwide. Whether it’s through interference in elections or military incursions into neighboring states, Russia’s actions show a commitment to forging a new world order in which they, not the U.S., reign supreme. This present-day KGB is trying to rewrite the rulebook on how nations interact, and not in a friendly way.
Iran rounds out the trio with its unrelenting quest for nuclear power and a relentless commitment to spreading its extremist ideology. The regime in Tehran sees itself as the vanguard of a new Islamic empire, doing whatever it takes to fuel chaos across the Middle East and beyond. Its hateful rhetoric against America is matched only by its efforts to create a network of terror that reaches into the heart of Western civilization. With the Iranian leadership frothing at the mouth for destruction, it’s clear that any belief in diplomacy is as naïve as expecting a cat to take a bath willingly.
What binds these nations together is not just their disdain for democracy but their shared goal: obliterating the very concept of a rules-based international order that has allowed for the prosperity and freedoms enjoyed in America. This alliance is a stark reminder that the fight for freedom is far from over, and complacency is not an option.
