Thursday, U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan unexpectedly declined to find special counsel Jack Smith guilty of contempt of court. Nevertheless, refrain from being deceived, individuals! The judge explicitly prohibited Smith and former President Donald Trump from submitting any motions to her during the pause in the 2020 election subversion case. She effectively prevented those troublemakers from engaging in any further legal machinations.

Evidently, Chutkan halted the case's proceedings while Trump attempts to dismiss it on the grounds of presidential immunity. However, Smith could not resist continuing to file documents, which provoked Trump to demand that Chutkan hold Smith in contempt and declare a violation. The judge immediately put an end to that and ordered, "No further filings from you!"
Furthermore, the judge unequivocally stated that she would not succumb to any foolishness regarding the government's breach of terms or bad faith conduct. Indeed, Trump's attorneys were vocally dissented, arguing that Chutkan ought to expose Smith and his prosecutors. However, the judge was unyielding and dismissed those arguments with a simple twist of her legal wrist.
However, there is more! Chutkan further suggested that the highly anticipated trial date of March 4 could be delayed in light of Trump's intrusive presidential immunity appeal. She essentially stated, "I'm sorry, everyone, but it appears we may need to reschedule this entire event because Trump cannot decide."
