Guess who decided to take a little siesta south of the border? None other than Slick Willie himself, former President Bill Clinton, popping up in the Mexican town of San Miguel de Allende. What’s he doing there, you ask? Oh, just strolling through the main square like any regular tourist, except this tourist has a whole lot of baggage trailing behind him.

The Mayor of San Miguel de Allende, Mauricio Trejo Pureco, couldn’t resist the urge to share a snapshot of this unexpected visitor on social media. The photo showed Clinton posing in front of the parish of San Miguel Arcángel, with the mayor extending a warm welcome to the ex-president. It’s all fun and games until you remember the Epstein files that just dropped.
Yes, coincidentally, Clinton’s little Mexican escapade aligns perfectly with the release of court documents tied to the infamous Jeffrey Epstein. These documents, part of a civil lawsuit involving Ghislaine Maxwell, have Clinton’s name swirling front and center alongside a laundry list of other prominent figures. Johanna Sjoberg, in her testimony, dropped a bombshell, alleging that Epstein once remarked, “Clinton likes them young,” in reference to girls. Yikes!
And of course, the social media peanut gallery didn’t hold back their thoughts on the matter. From speculating about Clinton’s motives for trekking it down to Mexico to making not-so-subtle jabs about his infamous past, the reactions ranged from outright disdain to sarcastic commentary. It’s no surprise that Clinton’s sudden Mexican rendezvous had the Twitterverse buzzing with all sorts of theories and judgments.
So, while Bill Clinton enjoys the sights and sounds of San Miguel de Allende, it seems his shadow of controversy and scandal continues to loom large, even across the border. And with the court documents and social media sleuths hot on his trail, it’s safe to say this latest escapade won’t be the last we hear of Slick Willie’s adventures.
