CNN Analyst Predicts Trump Victory if Election Were Held Today

CNN’s John King delivered a dose of cold, hard reality for the Biden camp on “The Situation Room” as he dissected the latest polling data. The outlook? Not great for the current White House resident. According to King, if the election were held today and the current trend continued, former President Donald Trump would be cruising to victory once again.

While Biden may have clinched a solid win in 2020 with 306 electoral votes, the tides have shifted dramatically in favor of Trump. With states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, and even Nebraska showing promising leads for the former president, the path to a Trump triumph seems clearer than ever.

But it doesn’t stop there. The polling numbers are painting a grim picture for Biden, with his approval ratings plummeting below 40 in key battleground states. Even staunchly blue states like Nevada are showing signs of potential flip under Trump’s sway.

Democrats are now scrambling to shore up support in traditionally safe states like Virginia and New Hampshire, acknowledging the very real possibility of Trump expanding his electoral reach beyond the 303 mark. While cautious optimism is advised when eyeing states like Minnesota and New Mexico, the Trump campaign is exuding confidence in their chances.

In the face of souring approval ratings, shaky ballot numbers, and a lukewarm perception of Biden’s leadership, it’s evident that Trump is seizing the moment. The momentum, it seems, is firmly in the former president’s hands as he lays the groundwork for a potential electoral landslide. The road ahead for Biden is looking rough, to say the least.
