The concerns about Joe Biden’s mental and physical condition are growing among Democrats, despite their reluctance to admit it publicly. CNN political commentator Van Jones broke the silence by acknowledging that Democrats are worried about Biden’s ability to run in the 2024 general election but are afraid to say it out loud because they don’t want to lose out on social invitations. However, the declining state of Biden’s health should be the least of their concerns.
While Jones mentioned that people are concerned about Biden, he conveniently overlooked the numerous other issues that surround the president, such as the Biden Border Crisis, the Biden Energy Crisis, and Bidenomics. These problems have nothing to do with Biden’s age and declining condition, yet Democrats continue to support him.
A New York Times/Siena College Poll revealed that only 50 percent of Democrat primary voters believe the party should nominate a different person for the 2024 presidential election. This number is surprisingly low considering the well-documented decline in Biden’s cognitive abilities. Unlike the Republican Party, the Democrat Party has historically been successful in denying undesirable candidates the nomination, as seen in the cases of Bernie Sanders in 2016 and 2020.

Despite the concerns about Biden, there is a hope among constitutional conservatives that he will be the Democratic Party’s standard-bearer in 2024. The upcoming presidential election will be critical for the future of the country, and the thought of another four years under a Democrat administration is enough to send shivers down the spines of conservatives.
