Tony Evers made a Freudian slip during a speech, referring to President Biden as “the Big Guy.” Evers was hyping up the audience for Biden’s appearance, but his choice of words raised eyebrows and left some wondering what he meant by calling Biden “the Big Guy.”

The significance of this slip-up relates to the ongoing impeachment inquiries into President Biden and his connections to his son Hunter Biden’s alleged influence-peddling schemes. Emails unearthed during these investigations have suggested that President Biden was involved in Hunter’s business dealings and may have benefited financially. One email, in particular, mentioned that 10 percent of the money earned was held for “the Big Guy,” with evidence suggesting that Joe Biden is indeed the “Big Guy.”
An op-ed in The Wall Street Journal further supported this claim, presenting evidence that Joe Biden had knowledge of his son and brother using his name to obtain money through questionable means. In each instance, it appears that President Biden allegedly received 10 percent of the money earned by James or Hunter Biden. With this assumption in mind, Gov. Evers’ choice of words becomes even more questionable.
While there is no concrete evidence connecting Gov. Evers to Biden’s alleged money laundering scheme, the optics of his slip-up are not favorable. People on social media wasted no time making the connection and joking about the 10 percent that was allegedly held for the “Big Guy.” This gaffe adds to a growing list of embarrassing moments for the Biden administration, similar to Jill Biden standing in front of a sign reading “Hunter High” during an event trying to divert attention from Hunter Biden’s drug-related scandals.
It seems that foresight and self-awareness are not strong suits for President Biden and his administration. Time will tell if these slip-ups have any lasting impact or if they will simply be brushed off as one of many blunders. Either way, they provide ample material for conservatives to highlight the inconsistencies and potential corruption within the current administration.
