The Left never quits, does it? After failing spectacularly to hound former President Trump with endless impeachment attempts, now some Democrats have decided to set their sights on none other than Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. Why? Because our military did exactly what any responsible country should: struck mercilessly at drug-running boats tied to dangerous foreign gangs. But in true leftist fashion, this bold action against criminal traffickers is being twisted into some twisted, petty political witch hunt.
This Michigan Democrat, who couldn’t even find traction when dragging Trump through impeachment drama, suddenly claims Hegseth committed “war crimes” by ordering strikes on vessels carrying members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang. Mind you, the same criminals Trump properly labeled as a terrorist group. Instead of backing our troops who are fighting to stop drugs and crime from spilling into America, this lawmaker is trying to sabotage national security for cheap political points. The audacity to call a seasoned war veteran “incompetent” while demanding impeachment shows just how far these clowns will go to undermine anyone standing in the way of their radical agenda.

The left’s disdain for America’s military is glaringly obvious. When our forces did what the job called for—eliminating threats on the high seas—they were met with cries of “incompetence” and worries over “war laws.” Meanwhile, actual criminals were caught trying to salvage drugs from a sunken boat. This is not some botched operation; it’s a targeted strike against hostile foreign elements. But of course, facts don’t matter when the goal is to chip away at the people who keep our nation safe.
And here’s where the hypocrisy really shines. The very party that claims to stand for law and order is openly criticizing operations that fight violent drug cartels. Worse yet, these leftist lawmakers refuse to provide clear examples of any illegal orders from Trump, even as they try to coerce military and intelligence personnel to ignore lawful commands. This is not patriotism. It’s an anti-American stunt designed to paralyze our defense and embolden our enemies.
The deep blue desperation has reached a new low. When Democrats can’t topple Trump by impeachment, they try to dismantle his allies in the administration. When they can’t defend open borders and rampant crime, they accuse our brave warfighters of “war crimes.” America is under attack—not from the outside, but from within. The question is simple: Will Congress stand with those defending this country, or will it become a tool for radical Democrats hell-bent on tearing down everything America stands for?
