Once again, Democrats are showing the country their true colors when it comes to what really matters to them. This week, Chuck Schumer threw himself a parade at the infamous Stonewall Inn, calling it “sacred ground.” Why? Because President Trump dared to take down the Pride flag. Schumer is now promising new federal legislation to make the rainbow flag an official symbol of the United States. Who needs history or unity when you can push identity politics and virtue signaling?
Yet just days ago, a mob of left-wing activists terrorized Cities Church in Minnesota. They harassed families, traumatized children, and left a woman injured as she tried to escape. Churches are supposed to be sacred in America. But not for the radical left. The Department of Justice actually stepped up, charging Don Lemon and others for violating Christians’ civil rights — yet not one Democrat leader spoke out in defense of those families or their right to worship in peace.

Instead, Democrats spent their time blasting the Trump administration for enforcing basic protections for Christians—while conveniently forgetting that Joe Biden’s Justice Department used the law to put grandmothers in prison for protesting abortion. Democrats had no problem sending the FBI to bang on the doors of pro-life families. But stand up for people of faith? That’s suddenly “Christian nationalism,” and apparently, it’s a crime now.
It’s clear what locations the radical left wants to protect: abortion clinics and LGBTQ bars. Christian churches? According to them, those are nothing but “bastions of white supremacy,” wide open for leftist mobs to storm at will. The double standard couldn’t be more obvious. If you wave a rainbow flag, Democrats put you on a pedestal. But dare to display an American flag on hallowed ground like Pearl Harbor? Good luck getting through the gates.
Let’s be honest. Schumer and his cronies care more about symbolism than the rights of everyday Americans. Their priorities are upside down. They want Congress to bow down to the Pride flag while ignoring the attacks on American churches and values. Is there any question which side puts globalist agendas and special interests above faith, freedom, and the country’s actual heritage?
Maybe the Democrats should stop worrying about rewriting history and start defending the people and places that really built this nation. How about making American rights sacred again?
