President Trump delivered a fiery State of the Union, leaving Democrats squirming in their seats—and for good reason. While America’s hockey heroes and decorated veterans were rightfully celebrated, the most telling moment came when Trump asked Congress to stand if they believed the government should protect American citizens over illegal aliens. Republicans shot up. Democrats? Sat glued to their cushy chairs.
That split-second silence spoke louder than a thousand campaign ads. Democrats couldn’t even pretend to back America first. When asked why Democrats refused to stand, one of their own, Rep. Janell Bynum, called it “racist” and “uncomfortable.” That’s Democrat logic in a nutshell: protecting Americans is somehow a crime, but putting illegal aliens ahead of citizens earns applause on the left.

This is the crazed world of the modern Democrat Party. They label every commonsense policy “hate” if it benefits Americans. Meanwhile, their real hate is reserved for ICE agents, working families, and taxpayers footing the bill for their lawless sanctuary states. They’re more worried about upsetting foreign lawbreakers than defending their neighbors.
Bynum tried to soften it with political gibberish about “unity” and “not standing on the backs of others,” but let’s call it what it is: Democrats want open borders and endless excuses—no matter the danger to American families. They can’t even bring themselves to honor the simple idea that the first job of an elected leader is to stand up for their own citizens.
This was the Democrats showing their true colors. No amount of spin or empty slogans will change the fact that, when faced with a choice, they side with illegal aliens over law-abiding Americans every single time. The real question now isn’t why Democrats refuse to stand for America. The real question is: Why on earth would any American ever stand for them?
