The Republican National Convention generates excitement with the juicy spectacle happening some 800 miles away. The Democrats, in a fit of self-inflicted panic, are pushing President Joe Biden towards the exit door fast enough to give him whiplash.
Rep. Adam Schiff, that tried-and-failed virtue signaler from California, has joined the chorus of Democrats, urging Biden to step down. With the number of Biden detractors in his own party nearing two dozen, you would think the President could at least count on rank-and-file support. Yet an Associated Press poll reveals that two-thirds of Democrats are practically begging for another candidate, with less than a third convinced Biden could stumble through a second term without causing a diplomatic incident.

Biden has dangled a potential out in a bizarre twist, stating he’d consider dropping out if his doctors gave him bad health news. So, there’s your plan, Democrats. Either get Biden some dubious medical reports or brace him for more of his verbal slip-ups, including forgetting key facts during televised remarks.
Amidst this Democratic circus, the Republican National Convention carried on and talked about stealing the show! Trump’s VP pick of Sen. J.D. Vance added some real excitement. But the DNC is still banking on Biden, hoping to wrap up his nomination this month despite his slew of gaffes. Misstatements in interviews, botched economic proposals, and confusion about the gender of the Secret Service head don’t exactly scream “four more years!”
Meanwhile, needles have swayed back toward Trump, who faces Biden with only a 2.5-point national polling advantage, and FiveThirtyEight’s model teasing a possible Biden win. However, serious Democrats are biting their nails over internal polling showing an apocalyptic scenario.
Biden’s Hail Mary attempt to appease the progressive left with economic and Supreme Court reforms hasn’t quelled the discontent. The message from the Democrats’ brain trust at BlueLabs is clear: they need a major overhaul of their ticket. However, finding willing candidates might be harder than persuading Biden to retire gracefully.
