In the continuing saga of liberal hysteria, Representative Eric Swalwell has once again demonstrated the left’s irrational fixation on Donald Trump with his absurd call for Democrats to campaign on demolishing a ballroom in the White House. This, ladies and gentlemen, is where the Democratic Party stands today—on the shaky ground of Trump Derangement Syndrome rather than on any solid policy platform.
Pathetically desperate to vilify President Trump at every turn, the left has reached a point where its outrage is purely performative. A ballroom—a mere building improvement—is now equated with monumental offenses in their fevered imaginations. Is this what the Democratic Party has been reduced to? Tilting at windmills, or in this case, ballrooms?
This is how revengeful and jealous Democrats are of President Trump.

One could almost laugh if the implications weren’t so serious. When a party focuses more on destruction than construction, you have to ask: Are they interested in leading the country, or just setting it ablaze? The extreme hyperbole surrounding a White House renovation only highlights their lack of substantive ideas. Instead of selling a vision for America, they’re peddling hate and divisiveness.
The broader issue here is the Democrats’ strategy to demonize their political opponents instead of winning voters with real solutions. They’ve got nothing to offer except a misguided, almost religious, hatred of Trump. How does this help the American worker, the struggling small business owner, or anyone who doesn’t live in a liberal bubble?
At this point, it’s clear the Democratic Party has nothing of value left to say. Their obsession with taking down Trump speaks volumes about their insecurity and lack of vision. Will America ever see a day when Democrats stop bashing Trump long enough to lay out a coherent policy plan? Or is their only strategy to swing the wrecking ball at anything bearing his name?
