The never-ending saga of illegal immigration continues to unfold in the United States, and the Democrats have come up with yet another outrageous idea. They are now proposing to use our beloved National Parks as grounds for tent cities and so-called “temporary” housing for those who have broken the law by entering the country illegally. Can you believe it?
In a House Natural Resources Committee hearing, the Democrats shamelessly unveiled their plans to convert our beautiful public lands into makeshift shelters for thousands of illegal immigrants. It seems like the Biden administration has no regard for the true purpose of our National Parks – to provide a sanctuary for American citizens to connect with nature, not to house lawbreakers.
Republican Congressman Michael Waltz, in a Fox News interview, rightly pointed out the hypocrisy in the Biden administration’s approach. It seems that when it comes to public lands, the rules conveniently change to suit their agenda. This blatant inconsistency only demonstrates the lack of integrity in their immigration policies.
Fortunately, there is some hope on the horizon. A bipartisan group of elected officials, led by Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, has filed a lawsuit to prevent the housing of illegal immigrants in New York parks and recreational areas. They understand that our parks should be preserved for the enjoyment of American citizens, not exploited to accommodate those who have entered our country unlawfully.
This lawsuit is a necessary step to protect the sanctity of our public lands and defend the rights of American citizens. It is encouraging to see elected officials from both parties coming together to stand against the Democrats’ reckless proposal. We need more leaders like Malliotakis who are willing to take a stand for what is right and uphold the rule of law.

In conclusion, the Democrats’ audacious plan to turn our National Parks into tent cities for illegal immigrants is just another example of their disregard for law and order. Our parks are not meant to cater to those who have broken our immigration laws. It is heartening to see lawmakers like Nicole Malliotakis fighting back and taking legal action to protect our cherished public lands. Let us not allow the Democrats to weaken our immigration system any further and trample upon the rights of American citizens.
