DeSantis Vows Swift Visa Axe for Pro-Terror Students

In the presidential campaign, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' audacious pledge to revoke student visas of foreign students who openly support the terrorist organization Hamas is causing a stir. DeSantis, during campaign events in South Carolina and Iowa, vehemently condemned the prevalence of anti-Israel stances among esteemed academic institutions, characterizing such behavior as a "huge problem" and a "national disgrace."

DeSantis singled out Harvard students who supported Hamas' attacks, threatening, "If you are a foreign national in the United States on a student visa and you support Hamas while I am president, I will revoke your visa and deport you home." In opposition to First Amendment concerns, he defended his position by asserting that students were not expressing opposition to Israel, but rather were endorsing a heinous terrorist organization.

In fact, he advised employers to reassess employment offers extended to students who had endorsed Hamas in letters, stating, "A certain threshold must be reached." Moreover, DeSantis vehemently opposed the notion of welcoming Palestinian refugees into the United States, asserting that the importation of a "toxic culture" from the Middle East did not serve the best interests of the American people.

Additionally, DeSantis criticized the proposal of the Biden administration to send $100 million in humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, claiming that Hamas would receive the funds. He unequivocally declared, "Hamas receives not a single red cent" and urged Arab nations to assist the refugees instead of relocating them halfway around the globe.

A significant number of attendants at his campaign events lauded his resolute opposition to Hamas and the prejudiced ideology taught in American schools, whereas a minority expressed disagreement with his position on refugees. DeSantis posited that educational prioritization should be placed on imparting the Judeo-Christian doctrines that underpin the Constitution, as opposed to yielding to hateful ideologies.

DeSantis, who is currently in the midst of his presidential campaign, continues to rally support in states throughout the nation, including New Hampshire, and shows no signs of backing down. His pledge to revoke student visas for those who support terrorism is attracting increasing interest and will almost certainly determine the outcome of the Republican primary.
