It is perplexing that, while families grapple with financial strain, Congress seems embroiled in political games and disputes that bear little relevance to the real issues facing the American public. Part of the frustration comes from a growing belief that elected officials are more concerned with their agendas than the welfare of the people they represent. The message is clear: it is time for all lawmakers to prioritize the needs of their constituents over political expediency. The American people deserve leaders who work towards solutions instead of exacerbating division for political gain.
