Disarray in Democratic Party as Leaders Question Biden’s Role

The Democrat Party is in a tailspin so disorganized it rivals the chaos following its Civil War defeat. Amidst the pandemonium, two things unite its leadership: a commitment to letting biological males compete against women in sports and a near-universal agreement that Joe Biden is not the solution to their woes. It seems that the octogenarian president, who has been shuffling around the White House like a confused grandfather, might actually believe he has a role to play in the Democrats’ impending disaster. Spoiler alert: he doesn’t.

After a much-needed sabbatical at his beach mansion—where taxpayers foot the bill for his little getaway—Biden apparently returned invigorated and ready to mend the party’s broken image. His first public appearance post-vacation was at a Broadway opening of “Othello.” This came not long after reports surfaced claiming the President thinks he has something to offer the Democrats, such as a way to collect funds for the party’s next high-stakes gamble. However, his former aides seem about as excited as a cat in a bathtub over this idea.

One might wonder why these Democrats would feel hesitant about Biden’s reemergence. Perhaps it’s because he has proven to be more of a liability than an asset. A national strategist close to Biden’s last campaign pointed out that the man who lost the White House, not to mention control of Congress, is under the delusion that he can save them now. It’s both baffling and entertaining to watch a politically floundering elder assume he’s the hero everyone needs in a time of crisis.

In the face of declining popularity, defenders of Biden come up with some truly bizarre claims. A Democratic consultant recently lauded Biden for his many “great things” for America, though even he—and likely most rational human beings—scratched their heads trying to identify what exactly these achievements might be. High inflation? An open border? A botched retreat from Afghanistan? It’s almost impressive how delusional the Democrats have become in their efforts to rewrite history. Maybe they need to start teaching a new kind of “American greatness” in schools, because the standard examples appear to be falling a bit short.

Discussion of Biden’s alleged popular support has become comedic in tragic proportions. After all, a million people disappeared from the 2020 election results in 2024, opting to skip Joe’s latest political theater. While Trump saw his vote total increase, Biden’s backing plummeted as his name became synonymous with regrettable leadership. Yet, the die-hard leftists, fueled by a dreamed-up sense of entitlement, still cling to their hero, while most rational Americans would prefer a change—any change—over a Biden encore, even if it meant embracing a historical figure like Stalin who promised a night of diversity and equity. The narrative seems to be clear—stay clear of Grandpa Joe.
