The Democrats are rolling into the 2024 election with pockets overflowing like a squirrel in a nut shop, while the GOP is scrounging for spare change like a kid hunting for lost treasure under their couch cushions. The Democratic National Committee is practically swimming in cash, having raked in a staggering $12.3 million in November alone. That brings their grand total to a whopping $20 million, the most moolah the DNC has ever had heading into a presidential year. It’s like they hit the jackpot at a political fundraiser slot machine!

On the other hand, the Republican National Committee has raised a measly $7.97 million in November, leaving them with a paltry $9.9 million in the bank. To put it in playground terms, it’s like the DNC has the fanciest, most deluxe lunchbox money, while the GOP is stuck with a sad little brown bag lunch. The RNC is trailing behind like a slowpoke in a race, setting themselves up for a rough time in the election year. Their fundraising efforts are as dry as a desert, while the DNC is tossing cash around like confetti at a party.
Sarafina Chitika, a big shot at the DNC, didn’t hold back, calling the RNC an embarrassment and accusing GOP presidential candidates of making fools of themselves in a desperate attempt to outdo each other in the MAGA department. Ouch! She basically said the RNC is watching donors flee in terror, while the DNC is building a money empire to support Democrats left and right. It’s like a political version of David vs. Goliath, but with dollars instead of rocks.
As if that’s not enough, President Joe Biden’s approval ratings are as shaky as a Jenga tower on a wobbly table. Recent polls have been about as friendly to him as a porcupine in a balloon factory, showing him trailing behind former President Donald Trump. In a head-to-head matchup, Trump is clawing at Biden’s heels, with some folks even saying they’d swing their vote in Trump’s direction.
