The Democratic National Convention has launched a new attack in their quest to protect their radical agenda, with billboards in Michigan slamming now-independent 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The billboards feature Kennedy alongside former President Trump and claim that Kennedy is “powered by MAGA Trump” due to receiving donations from a Trump mega-donor, Timothy Mellon.
The super PAC aligned with Kennedy, American Values 2024, received a hefty $15 million from Mellon, who is a transportation executive. Interestingly enough, in 2023, Trump-aligned super PAC MAGA Inc. also received a sizeable $10 million from Mellon, making the DNC’s attack seem a bit hypocritical.

DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd labeled Kennedy as a “stalking horse for extreme MAGA Republicans” and accused him of being “bankrolled by the same extreme MAGA donor as Donald Trump.” These accusations come as Michigan, a key battleground state, teeters between Democrat and Republican support, making it a crucial target for both political parties.
The DNC’s offensive against Kennedy doesn’t stop at billboards. They have also filed a Federal Election Commission complaint against his presidential campaign and American Values 2024, alleging illegal contributions and violations of federal election laws. The complaint claims that the super PAC utilized signature-gathering vendors to help Kennedy get on the ballot in battleground states.
In response, American Values 2024 co-chair Tony Lyons fired back at the DNC, accusing them of attempting to deny voting rights and engaging in a “relentless onslaught against democracy.” Lyons slammed the DNC’s tactics as a desperate attempt to defame Kennedy, vilify him, and deplete his campaign funds, asserting that the American people are too smart to be deceived by such political ploys.
It seems that the DNC is intensifying their efforts to undermine Kennedy’s campaign, especially as he has already qualified to be on the ballot in Utah and is eligible to appear on New Hampshire’s ballot. The battle for the presidency is heating up, and the DNC is leaving no stone unturned in their quest to quash any opposition to their liberal agenda.
