In an amusing attempt to celebrate the end of a tumultuous 2024, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) recently shared a collage of four photos featuring President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The post was intended to highlight “some of our favorite moments from 2024,” but for most Americans, these moments were overshadowed by the leftist chaos that characterized the year under the Biden-Harris administration.
The DNC’s selection of highlights was predictably cringe-worthy. Among the images was a snapshot of Biden appearing on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” a face-palm-worthy choice given the ratings of late-night shows nowadays. Meanwhile, there was a picture of Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, and even Biden cavorting with Olympians. Not to be outdone, the collage also included Harris on stage with a backdrop proclaiming “TRUST WOMEN,” clearly aiming for a liberal buzzword-laden applause rather than actual policies that serve American families. This excessive focus on abortion is fitting considering Harris’s notable visit to an abortion clinic earlier in the year, a stunt that only solidifies her obsession with the issue.
The year was marked by Democrats engaging in a veritable circus, especially as the election cycle approached. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre seemed to audition for the title of “Most Out-of-Touch Official” by gaslighting the public about Biden’s mental state, dismissing any concerns as “cheap fakes.” Such tactics made their way into mainstream media, where allies of the left cheerfully parroted the administration’s propaganda despite the glaring realities unfolding before them.
Even fellow Democrats found Biden’s debate performance against Donald Trump laughable, leading to murmurs within his party about whether he should step aside for someone—anyone—else. Ultimately, after a series of mishaps and sheer desperation, Biden announced his withdrawal and Harris was left to be the last one standing, even though she couldn’t muster a single primary vote to her name. All this, while still managing to win some blue states by narrow margins that didn’t match Biden’s previous numbers.
Meanwhile, November ushered in a new era, as Trump made a triumphant return to politics, winning the election with a margin of victory that even exceeded past performances. Not only did he take home the Electoral College, but he also captured the popular vote—a feat that has eluded Republicans since 2004. Social media erupted with responses to the DNC’s post, where the GOP chimed in with delightful mockery. The RNC’s post quickly eclipsed the DNC’s with a jaw-dropping 27,000 likes compared to their meager 1,500, proving yet again who the real crowd favorite is.

As 2024 ended on a note of jubilation for conservatives, the sour taste of Harris’s failure lingered. Despite taking home 226 electoral votes, she did it by the skin of her teeth, and not a single county flipped from red to blue. Her campaign proved to be a dud, and the RNC surely enjoyed the spectacle of watching her attempts unravel in plain sight.
A recent poll revealed that Americans are more hopeful about 2025 than they were about 2024, almost certainly in anticipation of Trump’s return to the White House. While the DNC may be reminiscing about their fleeting moments of joy, conservatives are looking forward to the potential of renewed leadership, leaving the disarray of the previous years buried in the past.
