We Lock Our Doors at Night—Why Won’t Our Government Lock the Border?
Let’s be honest—if you don’t have a border, you don’t have a country. That’s not a radical statement. That’s common sense. But somewhere between the champagne brunches in Washington and the climate change panels at the U.N., our leaders forgot what every rancher, truck driver, and working American already knows: boundaries matter.
You lock your house. You lock your car. You probably even lock your phone. Not because you hate people—but because you value what’s inside. Yet when it comes to the southern border, Democrats act like enforcing security is somehow cruel, un-American, or “xenophobic.”
Give me a break.
The man in the photo gets it. He locks his gate. Not because he’s racist. Not because he’s heartless. But because he knows what happens when you don’t. If you leave your property wide open, you’re not being compassionate—you’re being careless. That same principle should apply to our nation. Instead, we’ve turned the border into a revolving door with no ID check, no accountability, and no idea who’s coming through.
And while the political elite lounge behind their taxpayer-funded security fences, they mock everyday Americans for wanting the same basic protections at the national level. Funny how walls are “inhumane” when it comes to the border, but perfectly acceptable around Pelosi’s mansion.
Here’s the truth: this isn’t just about illegal immigration anymore. It’s about national survival. We’re not just seeing migrant workers looking for jobs—we’re seeing drug cartels, human traffickers, and even potential terrorists walking across like it’s a welcome mat. The floodgates are open, and our leaders are too spineless to shut them.
The cost? American lives, strained hospitals, overwhelmed schools, and wages driven down for working-class citizens. All while the Left gaslights us with emotional sob stories and tells us we’re the problem for wanting law and order.
But let’s cut through the political theater. Wanting a secure border isn’t hatred—it’s responsibility. It’s what every sovereign nation does. It’s what every sane parent, farmer, and homeowner does. And it’s what America should’ve done a long time ago.
This country has always welcomed immigrants—but it used to be done the right way. You came through the front door, not the back. You pledged loyalty, not entitlement. You earned your place—you didn’t demand it while waving another nation’s flag.
If locking a gate is logical, locking a border is non-negotiable. This is not about left or right—it’s about whether America is going to act like a country or a charity.
