According to reports, Bush has spent over $30,000 of taxpayer money on her own security. That’s right, folks, she thinks it’s perfectly acceptable to blow your hard-earned cash on her own personal protection. But it doesn’t end there. It’s been revealed that she also funneled thousands of dollars to her husband, who conveniently happens to be a security guard. Talk about a sweet deal!
Now, it’s worth mentioning that Bush is one of those politicians who loves to spout off about defunding the police. She’s all for stripping law enforcement of their resources and leaving Americans vulnerable to crime. But when it comes to her own safety, she has no problem splurging. It’s the epitome of hypocrisy.
Former deputy independent counsel Sol Wisenberg raised some valid concerns about Bush’s spending spree. He pointed out that the amount she shelled out for security is astronomical compared to what most Congresspeople spend. It’s enough to make anyone suspicious. Were these expenses really necessary?
