And let’s not forget the irony: a city with some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation couldn’t prevent an armed carjacking from taking place. It’s clear that gun control laws only disarm law-abiding citizens while criminals continue to run rampant.
This high-profile incident should serve as a wake-up call for Americans everywhere. It’s time to acknowledge the disastrous consequences of Democrat-run cities and their failed policies. From skyrocketing crime rates to lax law enforcement, the liberal agenda is a blueprint for disaster.
