America is supposed to lead the world in technology. So why are we still begging foreign countries for computer chips, especially now with the explosion of artificial intelligence? This dependence on outsiders is not just embarrassing—it’s dangerous. Liberals have spent years giving speeches about innovation, but when it comes time to actually build things, all they do is trip over their own red tape and climate rules. American factories sit idle while China, Taiwan, and others rake in the profits, and Washington bureaucrats shrug their shoulders.
While career politicians and ivory tower experts chatter about “global supply chains,” real leaders like Elon Musk see the crisis for what it is. Our own chip supply is weak. America’s tech future hangs by a thread. Instead of watching the market break under the weight of foreign dependency, Musk is getting his hands dirty—right here in Texas. His new project, Terafab, is doing what Washington refuses to do: build a real, American supply chain to meet exploding demand.

Liberals love to talk green jobs and “Made in America,” but when push comes to shove, they block new factories with endless studies and useless paperwork. Then, when America falls behind, they run to these same foreign suppliers, hat in hand. It’s the kind of backward thinking that sold out the American middle class and gutted whole industries. The left would rather bow to globalist interests than admit their mistakes and back real American manufacturing.
Meanwhile, the need for faster, smarter chips is only growing. AI is changing everything—from cars to medicine to national defense. Yet liberal policy keeps us chained to supply lines controlled by people who do not have our best interests at heart. Every chip we import is a weakness. Every factory we lose is a gift to our rivals. The politicians responsible for this mess pretend it’s progress, when it’s really national suicide.
Thank God for bold entrepreneurs who know how to get things done, even while the swamp drags its feet. If we want a future where America is safe, strong, and free, it’s time to support leaders who put our country first. Why are we playing catch-up in our own backyard? Maybe it’s time the elites in Washington start listening to people who actually build something for a change.
