Eric Trump stands unwaveringly behind the Secret Service agents who protected his father, Donald Trump, during an attempted assassination at Saturday’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. This includes staunch support for the female agent who was on stage when the chaos erupted.
Let’s face it, it’s not like MSNBC’s Katy Tur at the Republican National Convention was expecting a different response from the younger Trump.
During his chat with Tur, Eric Trump expressed his utmost respect for these agents. The particular female agent, who has served alongside Eric for a long time, was especially highlighted for her dedication and character. Clearly, in the Trump camp, loyalty and courage are virtues that transcend gender.

Eric Trump was not about to mince words; he places no blame on his father’s Secret Service detail. Instead, he lauds them as heroes who demonstrated extraordinary bravery under fire. Let’s not kid ourselves—these agents risk their lives without hesitation.
While the liberal media hounds Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle for the alleged rooftop security failure, critics have also sniped at the agency’s employment of female agents under supposed diversity mandates. Some Republicans argue that the Biden administration’s DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) push led to potentially unfit hires. Rep. Cory Mills, never one to shy away from candor, suggested that the administration’s focus on DEI results in D-I-E — a not-so-subtle jab at liberal hiring practices.
Despite the noise, there is no evidence to suggest any female agent caused a security failure during the attempted assassination of the former president. Trump was shot in the ear but was fortuitously not severely injured. Tragically, the incident resulted in the death of a former fire chief, Corey Comperatore, and injuries to two others. Conservatives stand in resolute admiration for the bravery of the Secret Service on that fateful day.
