Ex-Trump Chief Sparks GOP Donor to Demand $100K Return!

Oh boy, things are heating up in Louisiana’s gubernatorial race! Prominent Republican donor John Odom is demanding his $100,000 back after the candidate he backed, Jeff Landry, hired none other than Corey Lewandowski, the former campaign manager for President Trump. Odom is not only asking for his money back, but he’s also urging the good people of Louisiana to reject Landry at the polls. Ouch!

And Odom didn’t mince words when he expressed his disappointment in Landry’s decision. He called Lewandowski “unfit to serve in any capacity in any political campaign,” and declared that Landry is not the leader that Louisiana needs. Talk about throwing some shade!

But what’s really interesting here is the personal connection between Odom and Lewandowski. You see, Odom’s ex-wife, Trashelle Odom, accused Lewandowski of some pretty terrible stuff back in 2021. She said he had stalked her, made unwanted sexual advances, and made her feel violated and fearful. Yikes! Lewandowski reached a plea deal over those charges, by the way.

You’d think that Trashelle Odom would be taking a stand against Landry for hiring someone like Lewandowski, but she’s actually defending him! She just really believes that Landry, the Attorney General, has been the strongest in the country and is deserving of the governorship. Well, to each their own!

It remains to be seen whether Landry’s campaign will give Odom his money back. They didn’t comment on that specifically, but they did express optimism for Landry’s chances in the election. They’ve got over 11,000 donors and they’re ready to make Louisiana Great Again. Let the campaign drama continue!
