Exposed! AOC Fumbles Over Rudimentary Terms in CNN Debacle

In a recent interview on CNN, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suffered a major setback when she was unable to provide a clear answer on what Israel should do about Hamas. The interview took a dramatic turn as Abby Phillip, the host, questioned Ocasio-Cortez about a letter she signed along with other radical Democrats demanding a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Phillip asked a straightforward question, “What is Israel supposed to do about Hamas after they murdered, brutalized, abducted over a thousand of their citizens? Are they supposed to just do nothing?”

Ocasio-Cortez’s response was vague and failed to address the concerns raised by Phillip. Instead, she suggested that both Israel and Hamas should stand down within her proposed ceasefire. However, she conveniently ignored the fact that Hamas had fired thousands of rockets into Israel, sparking the conflict. It became clear that Ocasio-Cortez was regurgitating Hamas talking points, claiming that Israel’s actions were “collective punishment” rather than a necessary response to an enemy government that had openly attacked them.

In addition to her questionable stance on the conflict, Ocasio-Cortez criticized Israel’s blockade on water, food, and electricity, despite the fact that Israel is under no obligation to provide these resources to an aggressor government. She also took issue with Israel’s use of white phosphorus, an area-effect anti-personnel weapon, claiming it was inappropriate for self-defense.

When pressed for a solution by Phillip, Ocasio-Cortez was noticeably flustered and could not provide a viable approach. Instead, she relied on pre-assigned talking points and deferred to the Biden Administration for leadership on the issue. This is despite the fact that President Biden has already publicly cautioned Israel against a ground campaign, as if the United States had the right to dictate policy to an ally.

It is clear that Ocasio-Cortez lacks a coherent strategy for dealing with Hamas and is unable to articulate a plan for Israel’s defense. She seems more interested in echoing radical leftist rhetoric than providing real solutions. Thankfully, there are leaders in our government who understand the importance of standing with our allies and defending against terrorist organizations like Hamas.
