Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, bless her heart, has been in the news again, and it’s no surprise that she’s feeling a little hurt and angry. You see, Willis made quite the bold move when she decided to indict our great former President Donald Trump on charges relating to his behavior after the 2020 election. Talk about a desperate attempt to grab some attention!

But for Willis, being the center of attention also means being the target of criticism. She recently sat down with some donors, and, whew, let me tell you, she let it all out. According to the Washington Examiner, Willis complained about how she’s being attacked and lied about. She even mentioned the absurd rumor that she’s supposedly involved in a sexual relationship with an underage gang member. Can you believe it? Willis was quick to set the record straight, saying, “I like ’em old!” You can’t help but roll your eyes at the level of desperation some people will stoop to.
But let’s not forget who started all of this chaos in the first place. Former President Trump has never been one to shy away from criticizing his opponents, and Willis is no exception. Trump has repeatedly gone after her, along with a few other prosecutors, calling them the “Fraud Squad.” He even released an advertisement, yes, an advertisement, singling them out and claiming they are nothing more than unscrupulous accomplices. Well, someone’s feeling a little threatened by these fearless prosecutors doing their job.
Now, it seems President Trump’s aggressive attacks on these prosecutors have finally caught up to him. Two judges, New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron and U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, have slapped him with gag orders. Engoron wants to make sure Trump doesn’t disparage the court staff, while Chutkan has imposed restrictions that apply to everyone involved in his criminal trial. It’s about time someone put a muzzle on this man’s mouth.
In the end, it’s clear that Willis is just trying to do her job, even if she’s not doing it very well. She thinks being a leader means she’ll be attacked, but maybe she should take a moment to reflect on her own actions. And as for President Trump, well, he may have a big personality, but it’s about time he learns that his words have consequences. Let’s hope these prosecutors can finally bring some justice, without being subjected to baseless rumors and attacks.
