Reports indicate that the suspect proclaimed “Alkbar” before the attack, a chilling reminder of the threats posed by radical ideologies. Just hours later, another unsettling occurrence unfolded in Michigan, where a suspect rammed a vehicle into a synagogue and exited with a rifle. Fortunately, security personnel responded swiftly, taking down the assailant before further harm could be done.
The timing of these incidents has raised eyebrows. In fact, they appear to be the latest in a distressing series of attacks throughout the country. Reports from sources stated that March 1 marked a shooting at a bar in Austin, Texas, followed by an attempted bombing in New York City, and culminating in the tragic synagogue attack in West Bloomfield, Michigan, along with the earlier shooting in Virginia.
