Trump’s desire for Fox News to host this debate stems from his preference for the network over ABC, which initially scheduled a debate with President Joe Biden for September 10. Trump was on board with the original debate set to feature Biden, but after the Democrats’ unfortunate reality check and Biden’s quick departure from the race, the former president is now ready to tackle Harris. He has made it clear that he isn’t interested in playing Q&A with an ABC audience.
It’s not hard to see why Trump would prefer a debate that could be more favorable to him.
