The congressman emphasized that taxpayers should not have to tolerate the thought of their hard-earned money being shipped off to support terrorism. On the flip side of the political aisle, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar addressed a gathering at the Minnesota state capital, albeit without directly touching on the allegations raised in the report. Instead, she focused on a different controversy, responding to President Trump’s recent announcement to terminate temporary protected status for Somalis residing in Minnesota. Omar insisted that no evidence has been provided to support claims linking Minnesota taxpayer dollars to terrorist activities, asserting that such accusations are both dangerous and unfounded.
