House Republicans are all pumped up about impeaching President Joe Biden, but it seems like they might not have the firepower they need to make it happen. Rep. Don Bacon from Nebraska, a real straight-shooter, spoke up and said, “Hey, we don’t have the votes to kick Biden out of the White House!” It’s like trying to start a bonfire in the rain – not gonna happen!
This impeachment drama hit a major roadblock when their chief witness, this fella named Alexander Smirnov, got himself in some hot water with the Justice Department for lying about the whole Biden family shebang. Turns out, he was spinning tall tales about Joe and Hunter Biden taking fat stacks of cash in Ukraine. Old Jim Jordan, a real firecracker, is still waving the banner for the Republicans and saying, “We’re not giving up yet!” He’s all hot and bothered about this speech Biden gave in Ukraine a few years back, and he’s not backing down. But the word on the street is that some Republicans are getting cold feet because they’re worried this whole shebang might backfire and give Biden a boost for the next election.
