Tommy Tuberville from the great state of Alabama, are taking on the big, bad Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) over their pesky new air quality regulations. Can you believe it? In a scathing letter signed by 32 other senators, they’re crying foul and warning of the dire economic consequences of these tightened standards. It’s like a showdown at the OK Corral, but instead of gunslingers, we’ve got senators waving around strongly worded letters!
Sen. Tuberville, in his southern drawl, declared, “The current air quality standards are working just fine! We’ve got the cleanest air in the world, folks. But the EPA wants to tighten the screws and make life harder for businesses, manufacturers, and everyday Americans. It’s a travesty, I tell ya!” The senator went on to slam President Biden for his “job-killing climate agenda,” calling for a little less tree-hugging and a lot more focus on lowering prices for hardworking Americans.
