Governor Tim Walz’s reckless comments comparing ICE to the Gestapo show a dangerous level of ignorance and contempt. Equating law enforcement efforts to root out criminal illegal aliens with Nazi-era atrocities not only insults the memories of those who suffered under true tyranny but also exposes a stunning lack of perspective. Simply because these actions were carried out under the Trump administration does not make them dictatorial; rather, they are necessary actions in a system desperate to protect its citizens.
Democrat leaders, like Walz, would have us believe that ICE operates out of cruelty instead of duty. He conveniently ignores the long list of crimes committed by those ICE targets. From dangerous gang members and murderers to vile sexual predators, the criminals ICE arrests are a real threat to American communities. Walz would prefer to disguise these facts under the cloak of supposed victimization of illegal aliens, shedding crocodile tears for those whose removal is just and overdue.
As always, liberals show their cards too easily. While they scream racism and genocide, enforcement of the law is thrown to the wolves. The Democrats’ sick fantasy is to eradicate any sort of border control in an America where laws are suggestions and values are abandoned. The hypocrisy reeks when these ‘humanitarians’ ignore the true victims: the hardworking Americans whose lives are affected by unchecked crime.

The Department of Homeland Security rightly chastised these dangerous, false comparisons. Why should Americans feel sorry for illegal aliens with records of murder, gang affiliations, and pedophilia? Are these the individuals that Walz believes will enrich our nation?
It’s a shame when elected officials prioritize their globalist fantasies over the safety of their countrymen. Will we forever kneel to the outrage of authoritarian liberals, or will we stand firm in cleansing our streets of those who thumb their noses at the rule of law? Only time will tell if America decides to wake up to reality.
