Gutfeld astutely pointed out that as time distances us from the wild and wacky year that was 2020, Trump’s presidential star only shines brighter, leaving his potential competitors in the dust.

With a booming economy and a harmonious international stage devoid of World War III looming, Trump’s track record speaks volumes. Gutfeld highlighted the low inflation, skyrocketing home prices (a sign of a vibrant economy, obviously), and the absence of any disastrous conflicts that plagued his predecessor’s tenure. These are achievements that any conservative can wholeheartedly get behind!
In a deliciously sarcastic tone, Gutfeld lampooned the media for their infatuation with peace of mind over actual peace. It seems they were so fixated on Trump’s mean tweets and crass jokes that they failed to appreciate the strong, prosperous country he forged. Shame on them!
Meanwhile, the no-good, terrible, very bad news keeps piling up for President Biden. Gutfeld sensibly pointed out that Biden must be quaking in his boots at the thought of going head-to-head with the formidable Trump. As Biden’s poll numbers plummet among the general public and even within his own party, he’s facing an uphill battle that may prove insurmountable. The recent shift among Democrats, with a majority now supporting Palestinians over Israelis, also exposes deep fractures within the party and raises doubts about Biden’s effectiveness.
Let’s not forget the elephant in the room: Biden’s age. At 80 years old, he is already the oldest-ever U.S. president. The idea of him serving a second term, bringing him to the ripe age of 86, seems downright preposterous. Gutfeld shed light on Biden’s numerous senior moments, from his meandering train of thought to his infamous staircase mishaps. It’s no wonder his handlers are desperately trying to prevent any more embarrassing tumbles. Is this really the leader we want for a free world? One who can’t even stay awake on the job?
As Gutfeld eloquently pointed out, the farther we move from Trump’s victorious 2020 campaign, the closer he edges to reclaiming the White House in 2024. The vast difference in leadership style and accomplishments between Trump and Biden becomes increasingly stark with each passing day. America deserves a strong and prosperous future, not a leader asleep at the wheel. Time will tell if the 2024 election will be a story of redemption or continued decline.
