The Washington Examiner’s Samantha-Jo Roth thinks she’s got it all figured out, folks! She’s out here on Sunday spouting off about how 2024 presidential contender Nikki Haley is gonna swoop in and snatch up them independent voters in New Hampshire! Can you believe it? Well, believe it, because Roth, the congressional and campaign reporter extraordinaire, has spoken.

Haley, the ex-guvna of South Carolina, has been twirling her lasso and taking aim at the Republican Party’s past election flops. She’s been preaching that the GOP needs a fresh face to lead the charge. And let me tell you, she’s been throwing some not-so-subtle jabs in the direction of former President Trump. Roth even said on Fox News Live that Haley’s been squaring up to Trump more lately, but she’s been sly about it, using Gov. Chris Sununu as her mouthpiece to bark about the former president. Crafty, right?
But hold onto your hats, folks, because Haley’s been tip-toeing around direct Trump talk in her speeches. She’s been playing it coy and letting Sununu do the dirty work. And get this, she’s been dodging questions from the good ol’ voters. Can you believe it? Roth seems to think this whole song and dance might just be working for her, but time will tell, won’t it? The New Hampshire primary is just around the corner, and we’re gonna see if Haley can reel in them independent voters, who are apparently big shots in the state’s political scene.
Oh, and guess what? Trump steamrolled through the Iowa caucuses, snatching up 51% of the vote like it was no big deal. And on top of that, Gov. Ron DeSantis from the sunshine state announced he’s packing up his presidential dreams and threw his support behind Trump. So, it’s looking like Haley’s got a bit of a hill to climb, ain’t it?
The cherry on top? Polling data from Jan. 16-19 is showing Trump with a nice, cushy lead over Haley by a tasty 11%. That’s right, Trump’s got 50% of the people all riled up, while Haley’s hanging around at a measly 39%. Ouch. Tough break, but hey, politics is a blood sport, right? And it looks like Trump’s still the king of the jungle for now. So buckle up, folks, ’cause it’s gonna be a wild ride to 2024!
