Kari Lake, the fierce and fearless conservative firebrand, took the GOP presidential field to task on Wednesday night, leaving them in the dust as she questioned their worthiness of going up against the mighty former President Donald Trump. In an interview on One America News, Lake humorously compared the first GOP primary debate to the “kids’ table at Thanksgiving.” She didn’t hold back when asked about the decrease in the number of candidates this time around.

“It’s simple, really,” Lake declared confidently. “Why would anyone want to run against the greatest president of our era? We already have the Babe Ruth of presidents, so why would we settle for a bunch of tee-ball players? It’s just a waste of time and would only harm our great nation to go up against President Trump.”

Lake continued with her witty humor, stating, “It’s like the kids’ table at Thanksgiving. They’ll be over there causing trouble and making a mess, but no one will pay them any mind. I bet most people will be tuning in to watch Trump and Tucker Carlson instead.”
President Trump himself has made it clear that he won’t be participating in tonight’s debate, opting instead for a competing interview with Carlson. Trump believes that he is leading by such a large margin that being on stage with candidates polling in the single digits would only bring him down. Even Governor Ron DeSantis and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, the closest competitors to Trump, are lagging far behind in poll after poll. DeSantis, who initially promised to carry on Trump’s policies without the drama, has stumbled and lost the support of Fox mogul Rupert Murdoch. Ramaswamy, on the other hand, has been fervently defending the 45th president and has even vowed to pardon Trump if elected.
Other candidates participating in the debate include Senator Tim Scott, Governor Chris Christie, Vice President Mike Pence, Governor Nikki Haley, and Governor Asa Hutchinson. However, Governor Doug Burgum, who suffered a basketball injury, may not be able to participate despite meeting the Republican National Committee’s qualifications.
In conclusion, it’s clear that the GOP primary debates won’t be a major event without the undeniable presence and dominance of President Trump. The other candidates may find themselves at the “kids’ table” of this political feast.
