Hillary Clinton, the twice failed presidential candidate, once again showed just how disconnected she is from reality when she spoke about the “war on truth” at the Clinton Global Initiative Meeting in New York City. Clinton, who seems to have no self-awareness whatsoever, participated in a panel titled “Journalism on the Frontlines: How Protecting Freedom of the Press Supports All Human Rights.” After the panel, Clinton proceeded to give a speech where she discussed the threats faced by reporters around the world.
However, in true Clinton fashion, she failed to acknowledge her own role in undermining the institution of journalism. She conveniently forgot about the time she silenced reporters and controlled the narrative during her career in politics. And let’s not forget about the private server she used to conduct official government business, which was a blatant attempt to dodge accountability and freedom of information requests.
Clinton’s selective memory also led her to ignore the fact that journalists are often attacked for reporting things that do not align with the left-wing narrative. It’s no surprise that she would complain about “alternative facts,” considering the media reports that have exposed her corruption and dishonesty.
The irony of Clinton positioning herself as a defender of the First Amendment and the truth was not lost on many. Twitter users were quick to remind her of her past actions, such as keeping reporters behind a rope line like cattle during her 2016 presidential campaign and grading reporters based on their friendliness and favorable coverage.

Let’s not forget the countless classified emails Clinton transmitted over a private server and her attempts to cover up her tracks by destroying evidence. She used expensive processes like BleachBit to erase 33,000 emails and even went as far as smashing BlackBerrys with a hammer. It’s clear that Clinton has no regard for the truth or the law when it comes to protecting herself.
In conclusion, if Clinton truly wants to defend the truth, she should start by keeping her mouth shut. Her actions speak louder than her words, and they reveal a complete lack of respect for freedom of the press and the rule of law. It’s time to see through Clinton’s hypocrisy and hold her accountable for her corrupt and deceitful behavior.
