A recent bank record has come to light, revealing that James Biden made a direct payment of $200,000 to his brother, President Joe Biden. This revelation has sparked renewed scrutiny of a controversial business deal that is at the center of an ongoing investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings. The investigation has uncovered a pattern of income sources being classified as loans, with little evidence that the family members intended to repay them.
In response to the bank record, James Comer, the Chair of the House Oversight Committee, has demanded proof that the $200,000 payment was actually intended to repay a loan. Comer has requested loan documents and other supporting documentation to verify the legitimacy of the payment. The memo line on the check indicated that it was a loan repayment, but further evidence is needed to confirm this.

Interestingly, the $200,000 payment was made on the same day in March 2018 that James Biden received $200,000 from Americore, a rural hospital operating company. Americore later filed a lawsuit against James Biden, claiming that he misled the company into paying him $600,000 that he had listed as loans. James Biden eventually settled the lawsuit by repaying a little over half of the claimed amount.
This is just one example of the blurry line between loans and income that seems to run throughout the Biden family’s business dealings. Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, has also come under scrutiny for listing his income from Ukrainian energy company Burisma as loans in order to avoid paying taxes on it. The investigation into Hunter Biden’s finances has uncovered similar instances of questionable loan classifications.
These revelations raise serious concerns about the Biden family’s business practices and the ethics of their financial dealings. It is important that these allegations are thoroughly investigated to ensure transparency and accountability.
