It’s a tale as old as time: the privileged elite wriggling out of responsibility while the rest of us face the brunt of the consequences. But Hunter Biden’s latest stunt might just take the cake. The erstwhile troublemaker claims his father, President Biden, only pardoned him because of Trump’s victory. What a convoluted excuse for avoiding accountability! You’d have to be drinking the DNC Kool-Aid to believe that one.
Let’s not be coy about what Hunter did. He was found guilty of dodging a whopping $1.4 million in taxes and illegal firearms charges. Serious offenses, no doubt, with mounds of evidence to back them up—evidence the media spent considerable time brushing under the rug. Yet here he stands, attempting to spin a yarn that portrays him as a victim of circumstance rather than a perpetrator of crime. How convenient.

The claim that President Biden’s hand was forced due to Trump’s win is particularly laughable. We’re expected to believe that Joe suddenly flip-flopped on his firm refusals to pardon his son, all because of political expediency? For a family that touts integrity, it’s a head-scratcher. Where’s the explanation for why such a sudden reversal was strategically withheld from the American people?
Even Trump, during his campaign, hinted he wouldn’t completely rule out a pardon for Hunter. At least he demonstrated a shred of nuance—something starkly absent in the Biden camp’s calculus. Why are we only hearing about this now, from Hunter himself, rather than from the White House? The reason is simple—it’s political theater.
So, Hunter, while basking in his so-called privilege, acknowledges he’s received a stroke of fortune rarely afforded to the average citizen. Well, at least there’s one ounce of truth in his narrative. But let’s not ignore what this all ultimately signifies: the Bidens operate under a different set of rules, where accountability and consequence only apply to those outside their familial circle. When will the rest of us wake up and see the charade for what it is?
