One of the steps outlined by Comer in this investigation is obtaining the bank records of Hunter Biden, James Biden, and their affiliated companies. This is seen as a crucial step in shedding light on potential financial irregularities associated with the Biden family's international business dealings.

Representative Jim Jordan, who opened the impeachment inquiry with a passionate monologue, presented "four facts" that he believes lay the groundwork for the investigation. These facts included allegations of Joe Biden's use of influence during his vice presidency to benefit his son Hunter, particularly in connection with Burisma, as well as claims of pressure on Ukraine to fire a prosecutor investigating Burisma.
Jordan also mentioned confidential sources alleging that President Biden accepted a bribe in exchange for assisting in the removal of the prosecutor. Additionally, Rep. Byron Donalds revealed text messages between Hunter and other family members that raised further questions about their business dealings.
Despite these developments, the mainstream liberal media, including CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, and ABC, has been criticized for not giving the Biden impeachment inquiry the same level of attention they afforded to the 2019 Trump impeachment. This discrepancy has been described as a double standard, and some believe it reflects an attempt to downplay the investigation. President Biden has consistently denied any wrongdoing throughout these investigations, but the mounting evidence is raising questions about his claims of innocence and the need for transparency and answers.
