He also stated that he would continue to impose costs on Iran for its provocative behavior in the region.
Despite the positive news about the release of the hostages, there are still concerns about the deal's implications. The US government insists that the swap was not a ransom payment. However, critics believe that it could encourage Iran to conduct more aggressive actions. The White House is still standing by its decision.
