In a powerful address before the United Nations, an Iranian activist passionately called for global awareness and action regarding the brutal repression faced by the people of Iran under the Islamic Republic. This activist, who has been targeted multiple times for her advocacy, warned the world that the dangers posed by the Iranian regime extend far beyond its borders, affecting individuals across the globe. She shed light on the gross violations of human rights and the chilling climate of fear that is cultivated by a government that seeks to silence dissent and eliminate its opponents.
