Consider for a moment the latest acts in this troubling show—a shooting at Old Dominion University in Virginia and a bizarre attack on a synagogue in Michigan. It appears that the friendly extended hand of America’s immigration policies is occasionally being bitten rather ungratefully.

Here, a synagogue—an emblem of peace and reflection—became the target for another individual with intentions loaded and ready. A rampaging vehicle served as the opening act, plowing through a synagogue’s peaceful halls, reminiscent of scenes that belong in action flicks rather than reality. Miraculously, there were no casualties, thanks to a quick-thinking security guard who responded promptly.
In a world insisting on showing kindness, these stories serve as sobering reminders. Conservative calls for rigorous security measures and better watchful eyes on immigration loopholes ring louder in such moments. It’s less about building walls and more about holding onto common sense, especially when the signs are as clear as day.
