In a typical display of his signature style, former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back as he criticized New York Attorney General Letitia James and Judge Arthur Engoron for requiring his daughter Ivanka to testify in a civil case involving the family’s real estate business. Ivanka Trump, who will serve as the state’s final witness, will shed light on allegations that the former president and his adult sons manipulated financial statements to gain favorable loan and insurance terms.

In a fiery response on his Truth Social media platform, Mr. Trump lambasted AG James as “Letitia Peekaboo James,” accusing her of corruption and racism. He also took aim at Judge Engoron, whom he described as a “Trump-hating, out of control Clubhouse appointed Judge.” Clearly aggrieved, Mr. Trump pointed out that Judge Engoron had ruled against him even before the trial had begun.
While Ivanka Trump had hoped to avoid testifying against her father and brothers, Judge Engoron decided that her business ties to New York made her a valuable witness.
