Let’s not kid ourselves that the left loves to paint a picture of scarcity where only open borders can ensure prosperity. But as Vance made clear, America must decide the number of immigrants that can enter without harming its citizens. The idea that allowing more immigrants automatically equates to progress is a falsehood perpetuated by leftist ideologues whose only loyalty appears to be to the global stage.
Vance illustrated that legal immigrants who have entered lawfully are respected and acknowledged for contributing to the nation’s fabric. However, simply increasing these numbers ad infinitum is not viable. The opposition seems to have forgotten that a country’s strength lies in its ability to protect and preserve opportunities for its existing citizens.
Vance’s unyielding focus on America’s interests should serve as a wake-up call for those still under the left’s spell.
