While the liberal elite pretend their moral compass points true north, now even Jill Biden’s ex-husband finds himself wearing handcuffs. Bill Stevenson has been slapped with a first-degree murder charge after the horrifying death of his wife, Linda Stevenson—a tragedy that speaks volumes about the left’s failure to protect American families from violence and lawlessness.
For years, the Biden clan has painted itself as paragons of virtue and good judgment. The mainstream media is all too happy to play along, brushing aside the sketchy behavior and ugly stories that seem to follow them. But when tragedy strikes close to home, suddenly, the silence is deafening.

A 77-year-old man facing down a murder charge is not just another “personal matter” to sweep under the rug. This is a grim reminder that the same people lecturing everyone else on “decency” and “healing” come from circles where trust is a rare commodity. Have you heard any major network anchors screaming about this story? Of course not. If this were a conservative figure’s ex-spouse charged with such a horrendous crime, you’d be seeing wall-to-wall coverage, demands for “accountability,” and crocodile tears from every talking head in Washington.
It’s telling that the victim’s own daughter is forced to call for justice from behind a screen, instead of watching liberal prosecutors do their jobs in the open. Where are the marches for Linda Stevenson? Where’s the outrage from the so-called defenders of women’s rights? Nowhere to be found when the accused is connected—however tenuously—to the Democrats’ inner circle.
This country faces a crisis of leadership and values—and situations like this make it clearer than ever. The Biden camp wants America to listen to their preachy lectures, but can’t even clean up problems in their own backyard. Maybe instead of throwing stones at others, they should look at the crumbling foundations of their own house. How many more women have to suffer before liberals admit that their holier-than-thou act is nothing but an empty show?
It’s time for the double standards to end. Why does the left always demand justice and accountability—for everyone except their own?
