Jill Biden, always ready to come to her husband’s rescue, made stops in Pennsylvania and Georgia to try and salvage Joe Biden’s increasingly shaky re-election bid. These two states were dubbed battlegrounds in a surprising poll by the New York Times, which pointed out that Biden is lagging behind Donald Trump. Nonetheless, Jill maintained an optimistic tone throughout her campaign stops, assuring the crowd at a recycling plant in Augusta that a “bright, vibrant future” lay ahead.

In addition to Augusta, Jill also visited a former steel plant in Pittsburgh, using her time there to praise the economy under her husband’s leadership. She marveled at the rising wages and low unemployment rate, boasting about how these positive outcomes were achieved against all expectations. It’s quite amusing to see Jill try to paint a rosy picture of the economy under Biden, especially considering his questionable business dealings and the fact that he’s transformed into quite the millionaire himself.

Jill’s focus on Georgia and Pennsylvania clearly indicates that the Biden campaign isn’t taking any chances. It’s no secret that Joe often tries to tout his ties to Pennsylvania, desperately clinging to his “working class” image despite being a career politician and now a millionaire. However, the New York Times poll has dealt a blow to the campaign’s confidence. Not only is Biden trailing behind Trump in Georgia and Pennsylvania, but also in several other battleground states he narrowly carried in the previous election. One can’t help but notice that the American people have serious doubts about Biden’s age and trust Trump more when it comes to handling the economy.
With Joe Biden unable to maintain the exhausting pace of a full-fledged campaign, his wife Jill has been crisscrossing the nation to do the job for him. It’s clear that Jill is just as shameless as her husband when it comes to telling absurd lies about the country’s prosperity. It seems America will be hearing a lot more from Jill in the future as she tries to save her husband’s flailing re-election bid.
