In a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” with guest Bill Maher, podcast host Joe Rogan didn’t hold back when criticizing Democrats and “woke” leftists for promoting what he called “gender-affirming care” on minors. Rogan referred to this practice as “childhood mutilation.”
Rogan expressed concern about the impact of this ideology on children, saying, “What scares me about this is what they’re doing with children.” He criticized the use of the term “gender-affirming care,” arguing that it was simply a euphemism for “childhood mutilation.” According to Rogan, young children are not capable of fully understanding the permanent consequences of such decisions.
To illustrate his point, Rogan humorously pointed out that seven-year-olds can’t get face tattoos, go to war, or get married. He highlighted the reasons behind age limitations for such activities, suggesting that children are too young to make life-altering choices.
Rogan also expressed skepticism about the reversible nature of hormone blockers, a commonly used treatment in gender-affirming care. He argued that the changes that occur during puberty cannot be reversed by stopping hormone blockers. Using humorous language, he mentioned the potential consequences of these treatments, such as the development of a “micro penis” or the disruption of normal hormone levels.
Furthermore, Rogan emphasized that many individuals who undergo transgender procedures end up regretting their decision. He questioned the lack of discussion surrounding these regrets and criticized the labeling of anyone who raises concerns as a “monster and a bigot.”
