Kamala Harris’s campaign has been a masterclass in political mischief, and calling it a sham would be putting it mildly. From her lackluster debut in the primaries to her recent underhanded attempts to control the debate stage, it is clear that her candidacy is less about proving her worth and more about playing a game of political chess on her terms. It’s like watching a magic show where the only trick is how to distract the audience from noticing that there’s no real talent involved.
The journey of Kamala Harris through her political career has been filled with cringe-worthy moments. Still, perhaps the most revealing has been her unwavering defense of President Biden, particularly following his disastrous debate performance. Instead of gracefully stepping back, Harris has continued to parade around as if she deserves a spotlight. Yet, despite this persistent delusion, she somehow manages to win a platform—perhaps a testament to her status as the ultimate political survivor, clinging to the coattails of the Democratic establishment.

ABC News is one of the platforms that seems eager to prop her up, but the cozy connections at play raise some eyebrows. Donald Trump, ever the contender for fairness, suggested that debates should be held on Fox News to ensure an equal playing field. Surprisingly, Harris is completely uninterested in that idea. Instead, she’s all about the friendly confines of ABC News, marching into the arena with the kind of confidence only a decades-long friendship with Dana Walden—an executive at Disney who has, incidentally, showered Harris with campaign contributions—could provide.
It doesn’t take a detective to figure out why Kamala is cozying up to ABC. With a track record of generous donations flowing from Walden to Harris’s campaign coffers, it’s hard to buy into the narrative that ABC will host debates with integrity when there are so many ties in play. The claim of “journalistic integrity” from ABC rings hollow when one’s friends can effectively control narratives—it’s as if they believe voters are too naïve to piece the puzzle together.
The reality is that Harris should never have been in this position. The convoluted path to her nomination has all the hallmarks of a calculated maneuver. The Democratic Party’s embrace of identity politics, prioritizing appearances over capability, ensured her rise despite her failure to earn primary votes. The notion that she could claim a spot simply by virtue of her identity rather than qualifications symbolizes the depths to which the party has fallen. She managed to grab the nomination not because of popular support but through the art of political expediency and the backing of the establishment elite.
Given Harris’s penchant for dodging fair debate conditions, it’s clear she prefers her current throne over any real democratic process. It seems the only votes she’s good at collecting were those gifted to her through strategic alliances rather than a genuine reflection of her abilities. One can only wonder if her rise would have even been possible had her local political connections not provided a stepping stone from the very start. Harris’s story is less about qualifications and more about leveraging personal connections to ascend the political ladder—an approach anyone familiar with her history can’t help but view with skepticism.
