Kamala Harris Mocked by CNN for Recycling Biden’s Old Campaign Promises

Kamala Harris has finally decided to unveil her policy positions and campaign promises, which should have been a moment of triumph for the Biden Administration’s vice president. But instead, it turned into another installment of “What is she thinking?” as even her friends over at CNN couldn’t help but poke fun at the muddled mess that unfolded.

The media officially became the harbingers of Harris’s ultimate embarrassment when sharp-eyed social media users uncovered that her new “Issues” page titled “A New Way Forward” bears an uncanny resemblance to Joe Biden’s old campaign website. It’s like she found a dusty box of Biden’s campaign leftovers in a basement and decided to call them her own. Even Erin Burnett on CNN was struck dumb by Harris’s glaring inconsistencies, specifically how her current guarantees clash dramatically with her promises to progressive groups back in 2019 when she was positioning herself for a shot at the presidency.

In a particularly cringe-worthy segment, it was revealed that five short years ago, Harris was all-in on taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for new migrants—a bombshell that wasn’t even mentioned in her current policy commitments. Burnett couldn’t hide her disbelief, asking if taxpayer-funded gender surgeries for detained migrants was really on the table. As if hunting for the elusive unicorn of sensible policy, the Trump campaign took to social media, branding Harris as “Comrade Kamala” while snickering at her apparent extreme shift in rhetoric that even her fellow anchors couldn’t stomach.

It gets even better. Harris’s laundry list of past promises included slashing ICE funding, shutting down private detention facilities, and completely nationalizing sanctuary policies. What could possibly go wrong with a plan that prioritizes coddling criminals over protecting citizens? It seems that Harris was all about the decriminalization of controlled substances, including all drugs, not just cannabis. The prospect of this approach claiming a full high pass through laws is enough to make anyone shudder, with thoughts of fentanyl and crack being treated as mere public health matters instead of what they truly are—dangerous substances wreaking havoc on communities.

In a recent joint interview with Tim Walz, Harris attempted to maintain her poker face and insisted that her beliefs had remained steady as a rock through the political storm. Everything is Trump and the Republicans’ fault, according to her. In an impressive display of double-talk, she cited her steadfast commitment to the Green New Deal, which she claims she has always worked on. Harris championed the recent Inflation Reduction Act, claiming it was somehow a benchmark in the fight against climate change. Yet, with a record full of flip-flops, one has to wonder if she’s more concerned about setting deadlines or dodging accountability.

As Harris fumbles her way through a campaign that feels more like a comedy of errors than a serious presidential run, the American public can only watch and wait to see if she manages to keep her promises—or if she’ll be caught recycling her empty rhetoric. With that much confusion surrounding her policies and promises, the only thing Harris seems to have mastered is the art of political karaoke: taking someone else’s hits and hoping no one notices she can’t carry a tune.
